Oh wait, I just thought of a another guy you could talk to. Jon Gosselin! I know how much you love to talk to local people/celebs, and he's from Pennsylvania and he's a Phillies fan. You're welcome.

Sorry to hear about your job. You're a talented guy and I'm sure you'll find a job elsewhere.

As far as your book idea, I think that it sounds great, and I second Jarrod's suggestion to talk to Adam Carolla. Even if you don't like the guy, he is quite intelligent and has a unique point of view on most issues. Plus, he loves nothing more than to complain about his life and give his two cents on an issue, so there's a good chance he would be receptive to helping you out. At the very least, his popularity in the podcasting universe would do wonders to spread your brand.

bad luck about the gig dan, you and tunison are the only people there that i enjoy.
on the book, maybe drop a line to adam carolla - he has been fairly open about his difficulies in having his kids, it was covered on his tv show (the adam carolla project) and he mentioned it a bit on his radio show. he is also heavily into the podcasting thing now.
