We celebrate the Phillies winning the World Series with a two part show, in one part.

This show is long.  Like 90 minutes long. I honestly don’t expect you to listen at one sitting. But if you are a fan of the Phillies, or a fan of baseball, this is a show you must listen to. This is the show you will download, burn onto a CD and keep with all your newspapers and photos to remember this World Series. I’m being serious. Listen to this whole thing and savor it.

First, Kevin Kaduk of Yahoo’s super blog Big League Stew joins us to talk about covering the World Series. How cold was the Auxiliary Press Box? How much did people outside of Philly really care about this Series? Are we bad fans, or just misunderstood (or understood properly)? And what the hell do we do now?  Being from Chicago, ‘Duk has some nice things to say about the Phillies and the City of Brotherly Love.

Then, in part two of one (yes, on giant file, sorry), we talk to many of the local Philly writers, bloggers, talkers and baseball lovers about what this means to them, and what this means to the city.  Amazing. I was in tears – literal tears – putting this together.
