Due to some scheduling quirks, Nick has been gone for a while, but he’s back on the show.  We had scheduled to talk with AJ Daulerio from Deadspin in his monthly spot, but he too had some scheduling issues, so we’re going back to our roots - Dan and Nick, turning around and talking out of their asses. 

We discuss Nick’s trip to Nationals Park and the Phillies surge to the top of the NL East. 

We also talk about several retirements, including Michael Strahan, Dominik Hasek and Hillary Clinton.  Yes, we put a giant punctuation mark on the Democratic Primary season and look to the future. 

We make note of Wayne Rooney sporting a Rutgers hat, including the giant R I designed.  Yeah, yeah, it’s just an R.   But Wayne Rooney is wearing it. 

Oh, and my kid is now walking.  It’s the end of the world as we know it.
