We start with some brief Heisman talk, which really turned more into talk about how we didn’t really care about the Heisman this year because we’ve been soured by the system.

We then talk NFL and I posit that maybe the BCS will have a point if two teams end up undefeated and at least one loses in the playoffs. Don’t we really want two undefeated teams in the Super Bowl? Wouldn’t that be the greatest thing ever, especially with a Manning and New Orleans involved?

We then run down the division leaders and prognosticate the playoffs. Wow the NFC is down to basically one Wild Card race at this point. Amazing.

Speculation Station:

We talk about the Tiger Woods saga from a PR standpoint. Savvy moves by both Tiger’s came and Accenture to release their news when they did. First, Tiger’s team buried his news in the evening on a Friday. Accenture announced their decision to drop Tiger on a busy sports Sunday afternoon, guaranteeing maximum exposure both on the weekend, and still being timely enough to get on the front page of every paper in the country.

And at what point with the New York tabloids stop featuring Tiger? Who will break the streak?
