Today Nick and Dan talk more about the Annie Duke interview from yesterday, expanding on the thought that professional golfers would never be able to do what professional poker players have to do - namely put up their own money to enter tournaments against regular amateurs. Dan argues that Tiger Woods would never win the US Open if he had to qualify just like everyone else. Nick asserts that the cream always rises to the top, and Tiger Woods is the best ever. The DL - Isn’t That About Baseball: Nick and Dan talk about the upcoming World Baseball Classic. Is this the best time of year? If not, when? We discuss how making the WBC more like soccer’s World Cup might make the event more interesting and eventually save it. We also discuss the notion that, at least in baseball, we’ve been conditioned to care more about our city than our country. Then we briefly discuss the on-again-off-again contract situation of Manny Ramirez. How much has Scott Boras really lost touch with reality?

Housekeeping: A quick hit of what’s coming up the rest of the week. Brian Powell from Awful Announcing is coming on tomorrow’s show. And we have some Kornheiser news...well, sort of news. We ask the listeners a very important TK/DL related question and need your help.
